The club first; then each group’s schedule.
The brief
Club Natació Vallirana brings together swimming, water polo, teams, news and schedules for families and athletes. The new experience had to organise that club life without losing its collective voice: som història, som equip, som futur.
The proposal starts with identity and people, then leads to information that changes with the season, especially schedules organised by year of birth.
What we did
The home page starts with the club. The team photograph, motto and routes to swimming, water polo, news and schedules create a recognisable entrance before asking visitors to choose a section.
Schedules begin with a specific question. The year of birth opens the relevant table, where the week distinguishes days, times and type of training. A frequent query therefore has a short, readable route.
The hierarchy combines Archivo, Barlow and Barlow Condensed. Headlines, navigation and reference data take on different rhythms within one sporting voice, while red maintains visual continuity with the club.
The experience moves from recognising the club to checking a swimmer’s birth year.
The key is moving from collective identity to a concrete answer. The home page introduces the club and its teams; the schedule lets families reach a group by year of birth and read its week clearly.
How it is organised
The proposal separates identity, current activity and reference information. The home page brings together the motto, the team and both disciplines; from there, navigation opens news, schedules, club information and member access.
In the schedule, year of birth is the entry point. The 2026/27 season view presents the group’s week and distinguishes physical training from swimming sessions without turning the page into one large table that is difficult to scan.
Archivo, Barlow and Barlow Condensed articulate the difference between welcome, navigation and data. Photography and the club’s red maintain continuity between sections.
